Artist Toon Van Borm, who lives and works in Belgium, shares with us his works on the large sized handmade Iwano Paper. With writing as a constant in his work, Toon uses various medias such as steel, glass, wax, and etching acid. For paper, he uses the Iwano because “it is fluid and soft and light while being strong and available in large sizes”.
Check out his various projects on his website: http://toonvanborm.com/
His next project, using Iwano Shiromashi with blue carbon-papaer, will be entitled “little flag”, to be shown in March in Gallery Phoebus in Rotterdam.
